About Carlyle's Blog Page
At Carlyle, the needs of the end-user are plainly understood. Each client large and small is given our personal attention. The small and finale details are often the difference between a great job or a really great job. Each and every project bares your time, signature and reputation. That is why here at Carlyle each and every order is given “hands on” personal care, one at a time. One person carries an order from beginning to end. From building the frame, cutting the fabric, to stuffing the cushions, all up until final inspection, where upon the piece is closely and carefully scrutinized.
Each piece is thoroughly checked upside-down, and, inside-out for pulls, loose threads, final dimensions, cushion proportions, and general overall integrity by an objective party. If it is not right, it is fixed. If it cannot be properly fixed, it is remade. Our attitude is that the best solution to a possible problem lies in taking every precaution to keep one from incurring, saving us all time, money and most of all…embarrassment. Each piece individually carries our name and your specifications, thus elevating it to our highest priority and standard of quality. Only this way can we stay true to your artistic vision and as always, satisfy the client.

In August of 2008, I purchased a sofa from your Third Ave Carlyle store in New York. Greg was the salesperson who assisted me, and he made shopping for this sofa a pleasure. He was patient, supportive, and non-intrusive. He offered suggestions regarding how to best meet our needs, and he made it possible for this order to be placed and delivered in a short turn around period. I was so impressed with his knowledge and kindness that I told a friend about Carlyle and Greg. She in turn also purchased a sofa from Greg a few weeks later. Often a job well done is left unmentioned and I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with Greg's professional manner and personalized care. He is an asset to Carlyle. You clearly have some dedicated and caring people working for Carlyle and it makes me certain I would come back to purchase other furniture.

This letter is to commend the salesman, Greg, who waited on me. Greg spent a lot of time and effort to help me purchase my chair. I told him that at this time I am not walking well so it would be hard for me to come to the store. He was kind and patient enough to work out the details with me by phone and mail. In addition to this he called me after my chair was delivered to be sure I was happy with my purchase. You should be very proud to have this man working in your store.

I am pleased to say that this letter is not one of complaint. On the contrary, I want to thank you for being so helpful in my selection of a Carlyle sofa bed. Your patience and suggestions have paid off quite well. In addition, the shipping department has been exemplary: Lena and Doris were especially attentive to my inquiries and their help was much appreciated. And it does not stop there: the two delivery gentelment were extraordinary, savvy and pleasant. Thank you all.
